Hardwork, dedication and maybe a little bit of multi-tasking. This is what drives Lien Agnes, Student Assistant from the STC Library.
Lien, 19, was given a chance to pursue her studies through her scholarship. She is a shy and quiet girl but that never hindered her from taking on the responsibility of being a student assistant. Wanting to lift the financial burden from her mother who is currently the only one supporting her, she decided to become a student assistant. We can all see her watching over the baggage claim outside the library and sometimes inside to greet us as we enter.
Like any other student assistant, Lien manages her time perfectly, finding the time to read Psychology books during her hours at the baggage claim, taking whatever books she could borrow to study in between to make sure not to waste her time.
“To those who want to apply as a Student Assistant, as long it’s really what you want, all you need is to give your full dedication. Time management is also important and always be inspired to give it your all”
