"I am so proud to be your coach."
Those were the words that Coach Fadriga said after TCO volleyball team bagged the championship last Saturday.
Sir Ernesto Fadriga has been coaching volleyball in Saint Theresa's College for 13 years now. He has been the coach of STC Volleyball varsity and the TCO volleyball team in intramural.
"He is our second father in varsity. He's the type of coach who doesn't put pressure on players. Instead, he encourages and motivates them to do their best." Treshea De Pio, his long-time student, said.
Even before the game starts, coach would always reminds his players to stay humble and enjoy the game. Many loves him for his humility and patience during training. He believes in each one and never gives up on them.
Coach Fadriga suffered stroke and is now on dialysis. Despite his condition, he still remains a coach and is trying his best to train the players the best that he can.
"He makes every practice and game an opportunity for us to grow as a person." Treshea added.
Coach, on behalf of all your volleyball players, the TCO Volleyball team thank you for everything that you've done. 💚🏐
We are honored and grateful to be your players. 😊
